He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Bob and Mary Bonath; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Ream and Nick Nickelson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Bonath; his children, Neal Ginger (Kari) of Bettendorf, Iowa and Kelli Lambertus (Martin) of LeMars, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Ty, Brody, Marli, Mia and Harper; and his siblings, Laurie Haugen (Larry) of Mason City, Iowa, Dee Ream, Steve Bonath and Dennis Bonath (Lynn Nickelson).
