With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin A. Tyer of Polk City, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Juanita Miller; and his children, Larry Eugene Tyer and Judith Wilcox McMains. He is survived by: his children, Linda Rae Cunningham (Lloyd) of Lakeland, FL and James Ray Tyer of Polk City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Hope Charities and the Madison County Covered Bridge Preservation Association.
