It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren John Tiernan (Pocahontas, Iowa), born in Rolfe, Iowa, who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Tiernan and Bernetta Tiernan (Debolt); his siblings, Lucile Cobb, Wilma Tiernan and Jim Tiernan; his grandson Travis Loren Francis; and his great grandchild Anne Muriel Thompson.
He is survived by : his wife Grace (Block) of Pocahontas; his daughters, Joann Francis (Brian) Pocahontas, June Koster (Matt) of Fonda, Mary Gonnerman (Craig Ostbloom) of Fort Dodge and Teresa Bollard (Jerry) of Milford; and his brother Joe Tiernan (Linda) of Rolfe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
