He is survived by: his children, Nick Fitzgerald (Kim) of Council Bluffs, IA, Andy Fitzgerald (Lisa) of Des Moines, IA, Sherry Tipton of Maryville, TN, Tim Fitzgerald of Urbandale, IA and Molly Miller (Jon) of Ames, IA; his grandchildren, Amelia, Sam, Cameron, Ben, Sully, Aaron (Sherry), Holden and Furston; his brothers, Jack Fitzgerald (Margaret) of Cedar Rapids and Dave Fitzgerald of Iowa City; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Fitzgerald of Lowden and Carol Ann Fitzgerald of Ames. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
