She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Beekman and Mary Beekman (Henrichs); her husband Ronald Tjelmeland; her siblings, Alberta Traynor and Robert Beekman; her stepdaughter Mary Meister; and her great-nephew Matthew Beekman.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Ed Tjelmeland of Fort Dodge and JoAnn Schumann of Albert City. She is also survived by six nephews and many step-grandchildren.
