He was predeceased by: his parents, Chancellor "James" and Maryiea Christina Curtis (Johnson); his wife Joyce; his daughter Loretta Lynn Curtis; and his siblings, Jesse, James, Joseph, Tommy, Timothy, Robert "Bob" and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Lorna Leigh Curtis of Fairfield, Lonnie Raye Summers of Austin Texas and Ray Curtis of Packwood; his grandchildren, Alec Summers, Skyler Cuellar, Shelby Curtis of Austin and Lucian Curtis of Packwood; and his brother Arthur Welch of Columbia, Missouri..
