It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Marie Torgeson of Plymouth, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Bowers and Genevieve Bowers (Reynolds); her husband Richard A. Torgeson; her daughters, Karen Torgeson, Susan Trytten and Jan Berge; her brothers, Lloyd Bowers and William Bowers; and her granddaughter Shannon Westrum (Torgeson).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Torgeson (Patricia) of Mason City and Mark Torgeson (Jean) of Mason City; her grandchildren, Stephanie Massawe of Mason City, Sarah Heinz (Jonathan) of Mason City, Abra Christians (Jaramey) of Mason City and A. J. Workman of Des Moines, IA; her siblings, Robert Bowers (Joann) of Washington, IL and Barb Pierson (Larry) of Mason City; and her sisters-in-law, Mildred Bowers (Milly) of Indianola, IA and Terry Beavers (Torgeson) of Mason City, IA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
