He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Adolphs and Margaret Adolphs (Ridder); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Delores Thorne; his children, Jeffrey Adolphs of Parkersburg, Kimberly Butler (Matt) of Waterloo and Steven Adolphs (Heather) of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Darrel Adolphs (Lisa) of Miles and Doris Heerts (Steve) of New Hartford; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alysia, Cannon, Chloe, Claire, Ella, Myles, Helen and Lucille. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
