She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boer and Dorothy De Boer (Westra); her husband Kenneth John Louwerse; her granddaughter April Louwerse; her brother Ivan De Boer; her siblings-in-law, George Walters, Sherwin Van Kekerix, Judith Louwerse and Gloria De Boer; and also, John and Gertrude Louwerse.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Evert Van Maanen) of Doon, Terry (Sue Louwerse) and Kevin (Carma Louwerse) of Orange City; her grandchildren, Brent (Raelle Van Maanen), Eric (Liz Van Maanen), Kalen (Amber Van Maanen), Jordan (Lydia Van Maanen), Joshua (Jess Louwerse), Stephanie (Jake Hubers), Jamie (Sharine Louwerse), Ashley (Harley Luhmann), Abby (Eli Anderson), Andrew (Rachel Louwerse) and Adam (Shayla Louwerse); her siblings, Kenneth De Boer of Macon, Missouri, Lori Van Kekerix of Rock Valley, Marge (Gene Van Kekerix) of Sioux Falls and Donna Walters of Lake Madison; her siblings-in-law, Arlis De Boer of Sioux Center and Rev. Anthony; her sister Esther Louwerse of Holland, Michigan; and her sisters-in-law, Marie (Don Mulder) of Ireton, Joann (Roger Obbink) of Hawarden and Gertrude (Mike Van Regenmorter) of Rock Valley. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to the Unity Christian High School in Orange City.
