It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Clausen of Okoboji, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Clausen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clausen and Olga Clausen (Lamp); his sisters, Maurine Clausen and Lois Richards; and his nephew Ky Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Clausen (Struchen); his children, Douglas Clausen (Joanie) and Elizabeth Hansch (Dennis); his grandchildren, Ryan Clausen (Stephanie), Trisha Schmitt (Colin), Lindsay Armstrong (John), Aaron Clausen (Kelsey), Alexander Hansch (Kelly) and Eric Hansch (Barbie); and his great grandchildren, Bella, Leo, Dylan Schmitt, Will, Blair, Quinn Armstrong, Sienna Clausen, Max, Tommy, Windy Hansch, Charles and Jack Hansch. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Family, the local community, education, and the arts were all important aspects of Roger's life and a donation in his name to the Holstein Performing Arts Foundation is a thoughtful way to honor his life.
