He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Thein and Margaret Thein (Conner); his sister Judy; and his brother-in-law Greg Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his sons, Shawn Kyhl (Angie), Spencer (Jessica) and Brady (Kerri); his grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Madison Kyhl, Henry and Stella Thein; his siblings, Nick, Rod, Bob, Eileen and Sharon Lawrence; and his sister-in-law Jan Thompson (Duane). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
