He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Piper and Florence Piper; his brother Wally; his sister-in-law Fran Piper; and his niece Jodi Piper Bappert.
He is survived by: his significant other Judy Compton; his grandchild Cory; his son Casey Piper (Laura) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Cullen, Jack, Shaye and Drake; his daughter Cory Piper of Minneapolis, MN; and his grandchildren, Paige and Kit.
