He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Fish; his wife Frances Ledesma; his children, Joseph Potter of Oelwein, Teresa Pfister of Postville, Brenda Potter of Postville, Deanna Lopez (Francisco) of Oelwein and Jodi Potter of Postville; his stepchildren, Delphine Deaner of Hazleton, Lisa Potter of Oelwein, Delbert Potter, Jr. of Hazleton and Jack Potter of Oelwein; his siblings, Orion Zirtzman of Cedar Rapids and Delbert Potter (Linda) of Oelwein; and his sisters-in-law, Ione Potter of Elgin and Bette Potter of West Branch.
