He is survived by: his wife Michelle Powers of Oelwein; his sons, Kenneth Powers of Oelwein and Richard Powers (Chelsea) of Independence; his grandchildren, Emersyn, Jenson and Ainslee Powers; and his stepfather Richard Hassler of Maynard.
