She was predeceased by: her father James Allen Avey (Jim); her grandparents, Dr. Vale, Annabelle Thomson, Mona Beemer Thomson, Elbert and Ruby Avey; and her uncles, Ken and Bill Avey.
She is survived by: her mother Jo Ann Thomson Avey of Phoenix, AZ; her brother Josh Avey (Noelle); her nieces, Alyssa and Colette of New River, AZ; her aunts and uncles, Deloris Jo Avey Boone of Urbandale, IA, Paul Avey of Windsor, MO, Dr. John Thomson (Kay) of Kelley, IA, Arlin Beemer (Mary Lynn) of Mason City, IA and Gloria Hanson (Gary) of Waukee, IA; and her cousins, Dr. Dan Thomson (Cindy) of Ames, IA, David Thomson of Council Bluffs, IA, Lindsay Beemer Schmidt of Mason City, IA, Aaron Beemer (Valerie) of Mason City, IA, Sarah Leninger (Tim) of Mason City, IA, Stacy Lareau (Jason) of Waukee, IA and Stephanie Nord (Aaron) of New Virginia, IA. She is also survived by extended family, co-workers, and friends.
November 2021 HB (Holly) moved to Santa Fe, NM, working remotely during the pandemic for APEX Evaluation, Albuquerque, NM.
