He is survived by: his parents, Teresa Ann Applegate (Coughlin) of Oakland, IA and Dustin Applegate; his siblings, Maximus Applegate of Oakland, IA and Anna Applegate of Oakland, IA; his grandparents, Dennis, Jean Coughlin of Council Bluffs, IA, David and Sheila Applegate of Oakland, IA; his uncles, Dr. Andrew Coughlin (Jennifer) of Papillion, NE, James Coughlin (Nina) of Omaha, NE, Derek Applegate (Jillian) of Oakland, IA and Collin Applegate (Cassie) of Oakland, IA; his aunt Catherine Gillan (Austin) of Council Bluffs, IA; his cousins, Lucas, Claire, Julia, Ariana, Maverick, James Jr., Noah, Audrie and Jackson; and his great-grandparents, Warren Howard and Don Applegate. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Gabriel's name.
