He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Putnam and Carrie Putnam (Perkins); his wife Dorothy; his siblings, Phyllis, Dale, Darrell, Pat, Jean, Willadene and Bonnie; and his daughter-in-law Pam.
He is survived by: his children, Lolly (Mike) of Council Bluffs, Leon and Rick Putnam of Oakland; his grandchildren, Sarah (Rob), Rhonda, Niki (Kevin), Tom (Amy), Stacie, Rowdy (Cassidy), Brandi (Gavin), Crissy, Rusty and Shonna; and his sisters, Judy, Karen and Linda. He is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
