With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Gene Wilson of Oakland, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on November 14, 2022 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wilson and Bette Wilson (Turner); his brother Mark; his mother-in-law Marilyn Fritz; and his nephew Joshua Fritz.
He is survived by: his wife Kaleigh Wilson of Oakland, IA; his sons, Cole Wilson (Meghan) and Quinn Wilson (Brooke); his grandchildren, Piper, Vale, Sage and Vinton; his brother Steven Wilson; his father-in-law Willard Fritz; his stepmother Carol Wilson; and his siblings-in-law, Marshall Fritz (Dinh), Susan Baxa (Tom), Kristin Turner (Richard), Annette Cooney (Mike) and Regina Cleaveland (Brad). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Dan's name.
