Gerald Lee Nordquist Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 93, Gerald Lee Nordquist of North Liberty, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nordquist and Irene Nordquist (Rumme); and his brother Bob Nordquist. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lawson of North Liberty; his daughters, Lynda Nordquist of Thornton, CO and Diane Nordquist (Patrick Reitemeier) of Minneapolis, MN; his granddaughter Laurel Nordquist-Zukin of Parker, CO; and his brother Dr. Jim Nordquist (Judy) of Rock Island, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As an outstanding graduate student, he was awarded a Rotary Foundation fellowship and, in the fall of 1957, sailed to England on the Queen Mary to study for one year at the London School of Economics.
