He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles V. Baxter and Shirley E. Baxter (Humphreys); and his brother Richard Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Doris Svatos; his daughter Heather Hunter (Kevin); his grandchildren, Addie, Brinley, Charlotte and Brekken; his brother Vincent Baxter; and his sister-in-law Carol DeRamcy (Bill).

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations can be made in Farron's memory to the Epilepsy Foundation Iowa (http://www.epilepsyiowa.org).
