It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Amling of New Hartford, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Klein and Margaret Klein (Spence); and her sister Doris McAleer. She is survived by: her husband George Amling; her daughters, Sarah Rogers (Matthew) of Cedar Falls and Stacy Amling of Ankeny; her siblings, Patrick Klein (Norma) of Prior Lake, MN, Elaine Catalano of Whittier, CA, Keith Klein (Connie) of Meridian, ID, David Klein (Sandra) of Buena Vista, CO, Larry Klein (Cathy) of Gilbertville, IA, Annette Zuck (Dean) of Jesup, IA and Angela Hauser (Paul) of Granger, IA; her granddaughter Rhilynn Mangrich of Cedar Falls, IA; and her brother-in-law Bill McAleer (Wanda) of Omaha, NE.
