It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Whitney Shaner of New Hartford, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Whitney and Patricia A. Whitney (Chambers). She is survived by: her husband Dan Shaner of New Hartford; her children, Abbie Dubberke (Ryan) of Arlington Heights, IL and Matt Shaner of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Drew, Nick Shaner, Finn, Georgia and Max Dubberke; and her siblings, Jim Whitney (Karla) of Janesville, IA and Janet Ostby (Randy) of Cedar Falls.
