He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hetzler and Gertrude Raub Hetzler; his siblings, Marian Ide (Herbert), Albert (Grace), Edgar (Betty), Wayne (Florence), Marvin (Reva) and Herbert Hetzler (Martha); and his brothers-in-law, Paul Sywassink and E. Edward Philgreen.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Hetzler of Muscatine; his children, Jim Hetzler (Chris) of Muscatine, Kim Burdakin (Dave) of Chicago, IL, Jay Hetzler (Molly) of Taylor Ridge, IL and Kay LaRue (Don) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, James Hetzler (Rikki), Jacob Hetzler (Keisha), Aaron, Troy Grady, Jenna Bass (Brandon), Brittany Bonnicksen (Blake), Mike Burdakin (Lauren), Tom Burdakin, Joshua, Jared Hetzler, MacKenzie Robbins, Amanda Palango (Paul) and JD LaRue (Karyn); his great grandchildren, Madison, Austyn Hetzler, Kase Bass, Blakely, Brynlee Bonnicksen, Zachary, Stephanie LaRue, Nicholas, Tiffany, Antonia Pepe and Bristol Palango; and his sisters-in-law, Ellie Sywassink and Pauline Philgreen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Wilbur's honor to Muscatine Ag Learning Center, 3200 Lucas St., Muscatine, IA 52761.
