It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Vargus of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Isaac and Vera Elfie Stockman (Martin); her husband Joe Brady Vargus; her daughter Diana Vargus; her grandchildren, Kerry Fullerton and Michael Vargus; and her siblings, William, Kenneth, Jerold Stockman, Ruth Fuller, Esther Vargus, Juanita Fox and Donna Knifong.
She is survived by: her children, Larry of Muscatine, Robert of Muscatine, Judith Vargus of Muscatine, Linda of Muscatine and Rick Cary of Muscatine; her great grandchildren, Melissa, Shon Foster, Matthew, Zachary, Alexander of Oklahoma, Greg, Amy Vargus, Gabrielle, Brady, William of Oklahoma, Samantha Vargus, Lucy of Muscatine, Valerie, Paul Stagg, Vada, Jameson, Brenda, Garet Egel, Ethan, Keaton, Ava of Lynn Center, Christine Cary, Darin Lemley of Milan, Nicholas, Danielle Cary, Monroe, Emmett and Elaine of Wapello; and her sisters, Lorena Runyan, Roberta Little and Sandra De Shong.
