He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brewer Sr. and Betty Brewer (Alliman); his grandchildren, Sadie Kerr, David Jack Davison, Kurtis Evans and Baby Jack; and his close friend Dave Schaapveld.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Johnson; his children, Katrina Kerr (Josh) of Muscatine, Dean Evans (Donna) of Pierce, Laura Quinn (John) of Bloomfield and Jack Evans, Jr. (Ashley) of Illinois City; his siblings, Susan Pasterkiewicz (Mike) of San Diego, Paula Wright (David) of Muscatine, Paul "PJ" Brewer, Jr. (Angela) of Irvine and Jolene McAfee (Michael) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and his close friend Johnny Helgesen (Joy). He is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the family in Roy's name.
