He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Reed and Martha Reed Sr. (Bopp). He is survived by: his wife Linda Sedam of Illinois City; his children, Dan Reed of Illinois City and Sherry Reed of Maricopa, AZ; his grandchildren, Amanda Reed, Ashley Reed, Derek Reed Samantha (Ashley) and Nic Sours; his great grandchildren, Ayvin Newcomb, Simmi Reed and Ruzek Reed; his sisters, Mary Ellen Longcor of Muscatine, Marjorie Bowers (David) of Orion, IL and Carol Martin (David) of Edgington, IL; and his pet Fancy Pants.
Memorials may be directed to Drury Reynolds Cemetery in memory of Merle.
