She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert O. Foster and Helen Alberta Staats Foster; her husband Gerald T. Garvin; her siblings, Phyllis Simons, Dorothy Simons, Dean Foster, Harry Foster and Bill Cozad; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Theobald, Roy Austin, Eldon Simons and Connie Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia S. 'Cindy Midkiff (James), Barry Garvin (Mary) and Scott Garvin (Cathy Hill); her grandchildren, Abby Rinard (Corbin), Matt Garvin (Triston Tompkins) and Sam Garvin (Alyssa Westpheling); her daughter Josephine 'Josie'; her great grandchildren, Peyton and Logan Rinard; her siblings, Betty Theobald, Loretta Brady (Gil), Cheryl Austin and Wilton; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Simons, LaVerne D. Garvin, Juanita Foster of Columbia and Dorothy 'Toots Garvin of Indianola, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
