She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richter and Lola Spitznogle Richter; her husband Bernard Joseph Stecher of Mary's Church; her sister Helen Stecher; her son Gerald; her grandson Derek; and her sister Laura.
She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond, Lyle and Joanne Stecher; her children, Carole Lane (Gary) of Long Grove, Linda Harrison (Larry) of Muscatine, Jim Stecher (Dory) of Muscatine, Kenneth Stecher (Kathy) of Jacksonville, FL and Don Stecher (Kathy) of Iowa City; and her sisters, Iona Allensworth and Maxine Leathers. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
