She was predeceased by: her parents, Edzard Jacobs and Minna Jacobs (Kahrels); her husband Paul Wilts; and her sisters, Kathe Walther and Renate Cramer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wilts (Tracey) of Muscatine, Diana Steiner (Nate) of Boise, Marc Wilts (Mindy) of Chester, Virginia and Christina Kotouc (Zach) of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Hannah Steiner, Joe Steiner, Emily Bellamy (Cody), Alexander Wilts (Alana), Nicholas Kotouc, Sam Kotouc and Archer Wilts; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Silas, Delilah Bellamy and Levi Wilts; and her siblings, Erich Jacobs, Frieda Blümel and Gerda Köppen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
