He is survived by: his mother Margie Armstrong of Peoria; his children, Mike Armstrong of Muscatine, Angela Mulligan of Peoria and Gary Armstrong Jr. of Florida; and his siblings, Tom Armstrong (Tess) of Portland Maine, Jack Armstrong of Peoria, Karen Armstrong-Bovee (Wright) of Peoria and Sandra Armstrong of Peoria. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
