She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Arthur Sissel, Ben and Edith Mills. She is survived by: her parents, David Arthur and Mary Beth Sissel (Mills) of Muscatine; her siblings, Ben Sissel (Rachel) of Nixa, Missouri and Meredith Sissel of Milan, Illinois; and her grandmother Virginia Sissel of Muscatine. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Bethany's name.
