He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hanssen and Anna Martha Hanssen (Eggers); his grandson Isaac Hanssen; his sisters, Dorothy Webber and Ann Duffner; his former spouses, Ken Webber and Leroy Duffner; his brothers, Richard Hanssen and Robert Hanssen (Carol Hanssen); and his sister-in-law Joyce Hanssen.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Heidi Hoffman (Chris) and Dr. Jeff Hanssen (Marcie); his grandchildren, Emily Hanssen (Connor Coyle), Katie Hanssen, Hallie Hanssen, Caleb Hoffman (Belinda), Kyle Hoffman (Allie), Seth Hoffman (Olivia) and Silas Hoffman; his brother Al Hanssen; and his sister-in-law Arlene Hanssen.
