It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann McCormick of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Patrick McKeever and Dorothy Ann Muerhoff McKeever; and her siblings, Evelyn Stevens, Francis, Tom, Jim, Oscar and Don.
She is survived by: her husband Miles "Gene" McCormick of Mount Pleasant; her children, Cindy Anderson (David) of Olds and Dan McCormick (Ronotta) of Mount Pleasant; and her grandchildren, Amanda Sargent (Tyler), Armand McCormick (Sarah), Tyler Burden and Angelina Bucheit (David). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, Iowa Chapter, for Dementia Research.
