Though Dwight Herschel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dwight Herschel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delma Johnson and Herschel Johnson; his sister Aleta Findlay; and his uncle Charlie Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, William and Andrew; his sister Lorraine; and his nephews, Jim Findlay and Iver Findlay.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (410 E Sheridan Ave, Centerville, IA 52544). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
