He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Snuggs; his parents, Vincent and Agnes; his sisters, Erma Compton and Lola Manser; his granddaughter Hope; and his close friend Carolyn Luick.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Ripperger (Christine), Craig Ripperger (Deb) and Connie Kent (Jay); his grandchildren, Sean Ripperger (Mosheh), Erin Fuqua (Tony), Lynn Ripperger, Cari Mendez (Miguel), Leah Ripperger, Nicole Warrick (Josh), Cody Kent and Emily Mason (Torey); his great grandchildren, Harmony Fuqua, Brody Mendez, Adrian Mendez and Lilly Chasteen; his siblings, Mary Ann Scheve, Janet Schaefer, Dwight Ripperger (Carmaleen), Darlene Day and Darrell Ripperger (Julene); and also, Janet Van Ryswyk (Dean), Chuck Bartholomew and Joe Bartholomew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Milo American Legion or the Milo Fire Department.
