She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rush Luverne and Claire Ameila Johnson; her husband Merritt Balmer of Mason City, IA; her daughters, Felicia Swanson (Wayne) of Lakeville, MN and Kala David (Todd) of Montgomery, MN; her brothers, Robert Johnson (Ruby) of Hoffman, MN and Ronald Johnson (Deb) of Sioux Center, IA; her sister-in-law Melvia Nelsen (Steve) of Welcome, MN; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary (Mychaela), Jordan (Rachel) and Tori (Ethan). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
