He was predeceased by: his mother Mathilda Ramaekers (Kurtenbach); his former wife Eileen M. Pietig; his parents-in-law, Louis and Genevieve Pietig; his siblings, Gerald, James, Greg, Marie, Helen, Delores and Donna; his son-in-law Robert Norcross; and his brother-in-law James Pietig.

He is survived by: his children, Rachele Norcross, Kristy Ramaekers, Marty Ramaekers (Carol) and Randy Ramaekers (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Ben Francis (Racee), Tyler Norcross, Andrew Ramaekers (Laura), Chelsea Francis, Madilyn Carolan (Shane), Nikolas Francis, Hannah Behnkendorf (Andy), Erica Ramaekers, Elise Ramaekers and Olivia Ramaekers; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Rya Francis, Lennon Hertel, Jack, Charlotte Ramaekers, Berkley, Maren Behnkendorf and Sophie Carolan; his brothers, Walter Ramaekers and Jack Ramaekers (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Patty Pietig, Janet Houston, John Pietig (Diane), Louis Pietig (MaryAnn), Bernette Ramaekers and Joann Ramaekers.
