He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Pattschull and Lou Pattschull; his sisters, Terry Wright and Bonnie Pattschull; and his nephews, Tony and Casey Wright.

He is survived by: his children, Parker Pattschull (Jenn) of Mason City, Phillip Pattschull (Kayla) of Osage, Andrew Pattschull (Destiny) of Iowa Falls, Angie Pattschull (Ron) of Mason City and Pete Pattschull of Ottumwa; his sisters, Mary Church of Mason City and Connie Pattschull (Gary) of Mason City; and his pet Max. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
