He was predeceased by: his father Charles Bender (Chuck). He is survived by: his mother Joyce Olson Bender; his children, Diana, Travis, Jameson and Vivian; his stepfather Richard Cooper (Pops); his siblings, Carolyn Lipcamon (James), Mark Bender (Pam Neudorff), Jeffery Bender (Rita) and Michael Bender (Mary); and his stepbrothers, Tim Cooper (Krista) and Scott Cooper (Laurie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family in Shawn's memory.
