He is survived by: his wife Arlene J. Gilbert; his daughter Lynn Esser (Donald); his grandchildren, Reed McManigal (Christina), Paige Akins (Jay) of Costa Mesa, CA and Jack Esser (Mandi Burkley); his great grandchildren, Gus, Gigi Akins, Banks, Faye and Marlowe McManigal; his brothers, Russell Gilbert of Mora, MN and David Gilbert (Pat); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Stoltenberg and Marlin Stoltenberg (Betty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
