She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moyer and Minnie Moyer (Hansmeier); her husband Arden Smedsrud; her brother Donald Moyer (Rita); and her niece Ellen Moyer Gleason.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Schlitter (Roger) of Mason City and Donn Smedsrud (Joan) of Waukon. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
