With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Fritz (Mason City, Iowa), born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Charles Fritz and Pauline Fritz (Peterson); his wife Doris B. Lind; and his siblings, Paul (Billie Fritz), Eliel (Marion Fritz), Sylvia (Albert Frerichs), Margaret (Carlyle Olsen) and May.
He is survived by: his grandson Isaac; and his sisters, Harriet Esse of Spring Grove, MN and Nancy Christian of Fertile, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Robert Dutcher Scholarship Fund or Charles H. MacNider Museum.
