She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Johnston and Leonilla Johnston (Schreiber); her daughter Susan; and her husband Nicholas. She is survived by: her daughter Jane Demanett (David); her grandchildren, Kristin (Matt), Ashley (Mike) and Brittany (Maelyn); and her great grandchildren, Maximus, Apollo and Quinn.
Per JoAnn's wishes, her body was donated to the Mayo Clinic, and no service is planned.
