He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hauser and Ethel Evangeline Hof (Johnson); and his stepsons, Andrew and Shawn. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ryan-Hof of Mason City; his children, Matt Hof (Shannon) of Altoona, Jim Hof of Carroll and Jennifer Kooker (Eric) of Iowa City; his stepchildren, Melody Lunde (Jim), Christi Wyborny (Jim), Lance Ryan, Kit Ryan and Adri Whitehurst; and his cousin Susan Peterson (Chris) of Arizona. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church in Mason City, or American Family Association in Tupelo, MS.
