He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Tatum and Hazel Tatum (Lemon); his parents-in-law, Jerry and Ruth Snyder; his son-in-law Mike Servantez; his sister Joanne Pedelty; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Yuhouse and Milton Pedelty.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Snyder; his children, Todd Tatum (Jackie), Julie Servantez (Phil) and Scott Tatum (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Jamie, Ashley, Ryan, Zach and Cole; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Teagan and Kaylee; his sister Dixie Yuhouse; and his sister-in-law Joan Ortlieb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
