He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Daskalos (Pappajohn) and John Daskalos; his daughter Angela Daskalos; his brother Dr. Frank Daskalos; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Daskalos of Keokuk, IA, Jim and Patricia Haensch.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Haensch; his children, Penelope Daskalos, John Daskalos and Georgianna Rasmussen (Chris); his grandchildren, George Rasmussen, Alexandra Rasmussen and Thomas Rasmussen; and his brother Dr. Nick Daskalos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church or the YMCA of Mason City.
