He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil G. Kuehn and Edna Kuehn (Spencer); his parents-in-law, Roger and Irma Bucknell; his siblings, Bill Kuehn (Lois), Anne Campbell (Sterling) and Nancy Koepnick (Ross); his sister-in-law Sandy; and also, George and Roger.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Bucknell; his children, Mike (Karen Chrystal), Beth Ehlers (Steve) and David Kuehn Lenexa (Teresa); his grandchildren, Rev. Jennifer Ehlers Suydam (Caleb), Kristen Ehlers, Stephanie Ehlers Swenson (Brady), Nick Kuehn, Alec Kuehn, Samantha Ludwig (Adrian) and Andrew Phillips (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Harper Ludwig, Sawyer Swenson, James Suydam and Baby Swenson; his brother Don Kuehn; and his sister-in-law Betty Bucknell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church, Mason City, Instrumental Music Boosters of Mason City High School, The Choral Music Guild of Mason City High School, Una Vocis or to a charity of the giver's choice.
