He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Davis and Pearl Davis (Schultz); his parents-in-law, Gerald and Ruth Booth; his aunt Irene Schultz-Bakker; and his nephew Robert Logan.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Zachariah Davis (Sara), Jessica Richey (Adam), Linda Buchholz (David), Susan Frost (Mike), Debra Caspers (Bill), Tracy Davis (Michael) and Brenda Kreisel (Richard); his siblings, Virgil Davis (Diane), Judy VanDahl (Dave), Jeanette Logan (Dennis), Ron Davis, Hubert "Skip" Davis (Holly) and Michael Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Booth Jr. (Kay) and Linda Johnson (Dave). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
