He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Goodale and Lillian Goodale (Wagner); and his siblings, Bill, Vernon, Kenneth (Ruby), Dale and Irene Johnson (Chuck).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Nelson; his children, Connie Milbrath (Robert), Sherman Goodale and Michael Goodale; his grandchildren, Brock Milbrath, Mackenzie and Zachary Goodale; his great grandchild Aylan; his sisters, Viola Klassen (Matt "Junior") and Arlene Fox (Curt); and his sisters-in-law, Veronica Goodale, Marlene Goodale and Gertie Goodale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
