He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Whitney and Barbara Whitney (Hartley); and his brother John Whitney (Wendy). He is survived by: his wife Jean Whitney; his sister Mary Stearns (Robert); his sister-in-law Suzanne Volkmer (Steve); his nieces, Lauren, Sarah, Jessica and Lora; his friends, Tom Kitner and Randy Gourley; and his pets, Andy and Bailey.
